The Get Schooled on Concussions website and resources are available FREE of charge to EVERY SCHOOL in Missouri through a partnership of the Brain Injury Association of Missouri, the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Service and the Missouri Athletic Trainers’ Association.
Get Schooled on Concussions for Missouri will help teachers and other school personnel:
  • recognize a possible concussion
  • support students in return to learn following a concussion
  • gain knowledge about concussion management
  • save time

The Get Schooled on Concussions program was developed by education and concussion specialists to help teachers support any student in “return to learn” after sustaining a concussion.

A short questionnaire on educational content, teaching style, environment and student factors provides strategies tailed to support a specific student. The strategies are sent to your email inbox and are ready to use.

What  Get School on Concussions is a website featuring a Teacher Acute Concussions Tool (TACT) to implement individualized learning strategies to help concussed students. elementary through high school, while they are recovering from a concussion.

Who Every teacher, school nurse, counselor, coach and administrator of students of all ages.

When  Available FREE to every Missouri School through June 30, 2022.

How  Log into the Get Schooled on Concussions website and completes a five-minute survey based on teaching style and a student’s unique needs.  Individual strategies come to your email inbox over four weeks to help support the student through recovery, many times without the need for a 504 or IEP.
