The Brain Injury Association of Missouri (BIA-MO) Concussions: Facts, Fallacies and New Frontiers Seminars are a professional development opportunity for youth sports team and school personnel to reduce the risk of concussions and improve concussion management protocols.

This seminar will provide information about best practice care for concussion management and supporting students in returning to the classroom following a concussion. Learn from top international and local concussion experts.

A concussion may result in cognitive, physical, sensory and emotional changes that for youth may affect their learning and life. By staying current on information about concussions, you can help reduce these risks for students.

Coaches (paid or volunteer), Athletic Program Administrators, Licensed Athletic Trainers, School Nurses, Counselors, and others instrumental in concussion care for youth are encouraged to participate.

Sponsorships are available! Your help keeps this program free-of-charge for Coaches, Athletic Program Administrators, School Nurses, and others instrumental in concussion care for youth. It will also show your commitment for proper concussion care for the youth of school, community, recreational and traveling teams.
