Brain injury is often called the “invisible disability” and it does not discriminate. Brain injury can happen to anyone, anytime, anywhere.

There may not be physical scars or limited mobility from the brain injury. However, the effects may be short-term memory loss, taking longer to respond to questions or changes in vision or balance. There may also be a change in personality, mood, or sleep patterns.
