Get Schooled on Concussions for Missouri
Online resources that complement the education of the Sports Concussions: Facts, Fallacies and New Frontiers education 2024.
The Get Schooled on Concussions website and resources are available FREE of charge to EVERY SCHOOL in Missouri for calendar year 2024.
The Get Schooled on Concussions program was developed by education and concussion specialists to help teachers support any student in “return to learn” after sustaining a concussion.
A short questionnaire on educational content, teaching style, environment and student factors provides strategies tailored to support a specific student. Various educator-oriented Tip Sheets and videos are also available. This resource and website access is available through the Brain Injury Association of Missouri in partnership with the Missouri Athletic Trainers’ Association and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services TBI Grant.
