Brain Injury Awareness Day - March 16, 2010
Each year our elected officials make decisions that affect our lives. It is up to us in the brain injury community - survivors of brain injuries, family members, friends and professionals – to let them know how pending legislation will have an impact.
On March 16 you can help educate your State Representative and Senator on what is important during Brain Injury Awareness Day in Jefferson City.
Brain Injury Awareness Day shows solidarity and strength of the brain injury community. Your participation is important.
During this event, groups of constituents visit State Representatives and Senators in their offices. Each group is provided “talking points” so a consistent message is conveyed throughout the Capital.
Participation is easy and begins with your registration. Register your group or as an individual to participate in Brain Injury Awareness Day 2010. Download a Registration Form now or email AwarenessDay@biamo.org.
We look forward to seeing you Tuesday, March 16 in Jefferson City.
Brain injury prevention is part of the mission and daily activities of the Brain Injury Association of Missouri.
